Dear Volunteers,
Ahead of us is the 11th WIZZ AIR Warsaw Praski Night Half Marathon and the 5 km race – Praska 5K Run, which will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
As you probably already know, no sports event—big or small—can take place without the involvement of volunteers, that is, you. If you are a positive person, enjoy helping others, working in a team, gaining new skills, and want to be part of a unique event, then we need you!
Help runners achieve their dreams! Feel the satisfaction and joy of being part of their success!
This year we need support in:
- baggage deposit areas,
- Start/Finish zones,
- hydration/refreshment stations.
Below is a description of tasks for each group:
Baggage Deposit
It may seem that there isn’t much work in the baggage area—each participant places their belongings in a bag labeled with their race number. Simple intake and return, right? True… but when you multiply that by 10,000 runners—each leaving and then collecting their items—it becomes quite a complex operation. An interesting challenge, especially recommended for organized groups and energetic, detail-oriented individuals!
Time commitment: September 5 (Saturday), approx. 6:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Start/Finish Zone
Do you like challenges, fast-paced action, and tasks requiring coordination and quick reflexes? You’ll definitely find your place here. Volunteers in the Start/Finish area are responsible for organizing and coordinating activities related to the beginning and end of the race—such as directing runners to the correct starting zones, handing out medals, water, recovery products, and assisting with decorations. It’s certainly a challenge, especially when hundreds of runners cross the finish line at once.
Time commitment: September 5 (Saturday), approx. 6:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Hydration/Refreshment Stations
Imagine running continuously for several or even a dozen kilometers… What do you feel? Fatigue? Definitely. But also—thirst!!!
Hydration stations are crucial because this is where runners regain the energy needed to continue. By working here—quenching thirst and cheering runners on—you have a direct impact on their success. You motivate them to push through their limits. It’s also a great opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a sports event and gain valuable logistics experience.
Volunteer responsibilities include preparing the station (setting up tables, filling cups with drinks, preparing bananas, etc.), and cleaning up afterward (collecting used cups, leftover items, and packing equipment).
This is undoubtedly a unique challenge—especially recommended for energetic and enthusiastic people!
Time commitment: September 5 (Saturday), approx. 6:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Station shifts:
- Station 1: 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Station 2: 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM

- Station 4: 6:30 PM – 12:30 AM
