PRASKA 5K RUN TO FEATURE THE POLISH 5K CHAMPIONSHIPS
This year’s Praska 5K Run will feature the PZLA Open Polish Men’s 5 km Championships and the Polish Masters Men’s 5 km Championships. The races will take place on 5 September 2026 as part of the Wizz Air Warsaw Praski Night Half Marathon. The start is scheduled for 7:30 PM, with both the start and finish located next to PGE Narodowy.
The championship races will be contested on a fast, flat course officially certified by PZLA. The results will be recognised by World Athletics and included in its official statistics database. The course profile, combined with the evening race format, will provide ideal conditions for competing for national titles and achieving new personal bests.
The sporting action will be complemented by flames, laser effects, music and cheering zones, creating a unique atmosphere from the first metres all the way to the finish line.
Despite its championship status, the race remains open to everyone. It is an excellent opportunity for both experienced runners and those planning their first-ever 5 km race. Every participant will have the chance to take on a fast, officially measured course and chase a new personal best.
