On June 10th, we are launching open training sessions preparing for participation in the Evening 5th Praski Half Marathon and in the 4F Praska Five. You are invited to the training sessions which will be held every Sunday at 10:30 A.M. at the Agrykola stadium in Warsaw (park-side entrance). The activities are free of charge and open to everyone, regardless of training level – they are so versatile that they can be attended by both a beginner amateur and a seasoned runner fighting for life record.
The first of the trainings will be hosted by Wrocław coach Piotr Ślęzak – a graduate of the Wroclaw Academy of Phisical Education with half-marathon life record 1: 11.54 and a score 2: 34.05 from the Berlin maraton. As part of his group Ślęzak Team, amateurs went down in the maraton results from 3:26:19 to 2:42:13. Piotr, as a blogger, runs the website Stestuje.pl, and is also a specialist in selection of running shoes, so on classes on June 10th he will tell you how to properly choose shoes, what to look for, in which shoes to start, and in which to train depending on the weather / type terrain.
A week later (the 17th of June) and on Sunday, the 24th of June, the trainings will be conducted by Rafał Sieradzki, known to you from previous years. Starting from the 1st of July Edyta Lewandowska – the medallist of the marathon run championships of Poland and gold medallist of the long-distance mountain run championships, will be with us again.
Water will be provided by our partner – Cisowianka.
You don’t need to sign up for our training sessions – just come and learn the secrets of professional competition preparation under the guidance of our coaches!
See you on Sunday! Remember: union is strength!
